Deme reported stable activity in offshore wind in 2025, with its Offshore Energy segment delivering higher turnover supported by ongoing projects in the USA, Europe and Asia. In the USA, work progressed on the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project, where installation of 176 monopile foundations was completed, alongside ongoing substation and cable installation activities. Installation work also continued on Vineyard Wind, with cable operations at Empire Wind 1.
In Europe, Deme completed foundation and transition piece installation at the Îles d’Yeu and Noirmoutier project in France. Work also progressed on Dieppe–Le Tréport, including offshore substation and jacket installation. In Poland, cable installation started at Baltic Power, while activities continued on Dogger Bank C in the United Kingdom. Preparatory work was also carried out for future Dutch offshore wind projects.
In Asia-Pacific, installation of jacket foundations was completed at the Hai Long offshore wind project in Taiwan, with further works ongoing in the region.
During the year, Deme added turbine installation capacity through the acquisition of Havfram, including two new vessels scheduled to enter service from 2026. The company also ordered a cable laying vessel to support subsea cable installation.
The Offshore Energy unit recorded turnover of €2.1 billion, representing 49% of total group revenue, with an EBITDA margin of 30.7%. Performance was supported by a solid project backlog, high fleet utilisation and continued offshore installation work.
The Offshore Energy order book remained above €4 billion, reflecting continued demand for offshore wind installation and related infrastructure.
