The Supervisory Board of Sif has appointed Boudewijn van Schaïk as a member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 12 May 2025. His term will last for four years.
Van Schaïk (born 1979), who holds Dutch and South African nationalities, was previously CFO at Avantium. Before joining Avantium in January 2023, he held senior roles at SBM Offshore between 2013 and 2022, including director of corporate finance, with responsibilities across treasury, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he held finance positions at NIBC Bank, ABN AMRO, Main Corporate Finance, and Alexander Forbes in South Africa. He holds a degree in Business Science, specialising in accounting and corporate finance, from the University of Cape Town. Van Schaïk currently does not hold shares in Sif.
