The Supervisory Board of Sif has announced its intention to appoint Pepijn Timmermans as a member of the Executive Board. The proposal will be presented at an Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders on 12 November 2025 in Roermond.
From 1 December 2025, Timmermans will take up the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), with the COO position being raised to Executive Board level. Current COO Frank Kevenaar will continue with Sif as Executive Advisor Operations, focusing on the ramp-up of the company’s new manufacturing plant at Maasvlakte 2 in Rotterdam.
Born in 1973, Timmermans is currently COO at VDL Bus Valkenswaard. Before that appointment in 2024, he held senior roles in supply chain management and information technology at VDL Nedcar between 2013 and 2024.
Earlier in his career, he co-founded and managed Schleifenbauer Products, a producer of intelligent power distribution units for data centres, and worked as a programme manager at Atos Origin. He holds a Master of Science in European Automotive Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor in Automotive Engineering from HAN University of Applied Sciences. Timmermans does not hold shares in Sif.
