Casa dos Ventos and Vestas have confirmed an agreement covering the Dom Inocêncio onshore wind project in Brazil. The project will be developed in the south-central region of Piauí and will have an installed capacity of 828 MW.
The wind farm will comprise 184 V150-4.5 MW turbines. Construction is planned to start in 2026, with full commissioning expected in 2028. Vestas will supply the turbines, oversee construction activities and provide operation and maintenance services under a 25-year service agreement. The total investment associated with the project exceeds five billion Brazilian real.
