Vestas has announced a new order in Japan as part of its second-quarter order intake. The contract covers the Hachiryu Wind Power Station Repowering Project, led by M Winds Hachiryu Co., a group company of Meidensha Corporation.
The project has a total capacity of 29 MW and includes 7 V136-4.2 MW turbines. It is covered by a 10-year service agreement. Delivery is planned for the first quarter of 2028, with commissioning scheduled for 2028.
