Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order in Greece for a wind energy project in the southern Greek region of Peloponnese. The order for 12 units of the V112-3.3MW model was placed by Elliniki Technodomiki Anemos.
The contract for the 40MW Lyrkio wind project comprises supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a 15-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 service agreement. Turbine delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2016, whilst commissioning is expected for the first quarter of 2017.
Further Hanas Group has placed an order for 25 V110-2.0MW turbines for the Wanglejing Sunjialou wind park in western China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The order follows the 250MW Hanas Group ordered in November and will take Hanas’ fleet of Vestas turbines to 900MW. The order includes two-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 service contract in which Vestas guarantees a defined level of availability and performance, and a SCADA VestasOnline Business for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance. Delivery and commissioning are expected in the second half of 2016.
