Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order in the United States for 55 V110-2.0 MW turbines corresponding to 110 MW from Duke Energy Renewables for the Duke Los Vientos V project in Texas, USA.
The order comprises supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a three-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Expected completion date of the project is in late 2015.
