Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order in Texas, USA, for 75 V100-2.0 MW turbines, totalling 150 MW from EDF Renewable Energy for the Salt Fork project.
The contract covers supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a three-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to take place in third quarter of 2016, with commissioning expected in fourth quarter of 2016.
