Vestas has received an order for 56 V117-3.3 MW turbines totalling 185MW from Latin America Power (LAP) for the San Juan project in Atacama, Chile.
The contract includes supply and installation of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year full-scope Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement. Turbine delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2016, whilst commissioning is expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.
