Hornbeck Offshore has awarded Uptime International (Uptime) a comprehensive logistics system for its HOSSOV 300E, a Jones Act Service Operation Vessel (SOV) for the US renewable market.Uptime’s scope of supply consists of the Uptime 30-metre floating wind-ready logistics system for personnel and cargo. Artificial intelligence and autonomous functions, in addition to integrated 3D winch capability. An elevator tower that will provide offshore workers with stepless access to offshore wind and other offshore energy installations. A standalone Uptime by Motus 3D Crane for cargo operations is fully integrated into the logistic system. The high-spec HOSSOV 300E will be available in the spring of 2025, after completing its full conversion. Uptime will work closely with both Vard Marine and Eastern Shipbuilding Group for the successful execution of the conversion.
