Kajima Corporation and Sif Holding have signed a final contract for the delivery of 33 monopiles and 33 Transition pieces (25 KTon steel) for the 140MW Akita-Noshiro offshore wind farm in Japan.
Sif’s scope comprises manufacturing of the monopiles and transition pieces, storage at their facility in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and delivery at their deep sea quay side in 2020.

The Akita-Noshiro wind farm is situated in the Akita and Noshiro districts in the coastal zone of Akita Prefecture. The project will be realised by Kajima Corporation as EPCI contractor. This project was already in Sif’s orderbook as a project under exclusive negotiations but is now included as a firm contract. Sif’s orderbook for 2020 now has approximately 175 Kton in firm projects.
