SGS helps Veja Mate Offshore Project GmbH to actualise the "Veja Mate" offshore wind farm project in the German North Sea.
SGS Germany was commissioned for the project's certification in accordance with the standards of the German Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH). SGS will accompany the Veja Mate offshore project from the first BSH-approval phase until the receipt of the third BSH approval. SGS will also judge whether the wind farm's layout design conforms to the current state of technology. The Veja Mate project is located approximately 100 kilometres off the coast of the German North Sea. Wind turbines with a rated output of 400MW are being installed across an area of 50 square kilometres.
