Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has been awarded by Exelon a contract for the delivery and installation of the “Beebe” wind farm in Gratiot County, Michigan.
The 81.6MW project comprises 34 multi-megawatt turbines from the new Nordex N117/2400 series. Exelon will be commencing the preparatory construction work at the site in May, with the turbines to be supplied from the Nordex US production facility in late summer 2012.
