Nadara has reached an agreement with BlueFloat Energy to acquire its partner’s 50% stake in several floating offshore wind projects in the UK and Italy.
The transaction gives Nadara full ownership of four Scottish projects: the 1.8 GW Bellrock and 900 MW Broadshore ScotWind sites, along with the 99.5 MW Sinclair and 99.5 MW Scaraben projects, both part of the INTOG leasing round. Nadara and BlueFloat Energy will continue to share ownership of the 1.5 GW Stromar project off the Caithness coast, which is being developed with Ørsted.
