Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Goldwind) has announced the signing of a turbine supply contract with Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group).
EGCO group is Thailand´s first independent power producer, to provide three GW109/2500 low wind speed series Permanent Magnet Direct-Drive (PMDD) turbines and a SCADA system for its THEPPANA wind farm project. The THEPPANA wind farm project, which will be completed by third quarter of 2013, is Goldwind’s first wind project in Thailand and Southeast Asia. The THEPPANA wind farm project is located in Chaiyaphum province, in the northeast of Thailand, about 250 kilometers from Bangkok.
