Experts from the international renewable energy consultancy have conducted a full technical due diligence review in support of the recently completed US$ 1.4 billion project financing for joint lead arrangers Citibank, N.A, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd., WestLB AG, New York Branch, and RBS Securities Inc. GL Garrad Hassan is now providing construction monitoring services and technical support throughout project construction to underpin the anticipated term financing at commercial operation. The 845 MW Shepherds Flat Wind Farm will consist of 338 GE 2.5 MW turbines. Construction commenced in May 2010, with commercial operation expected to occur in 2012.
