Gamesa has secured new contracts for the supply of 172 MW to India. Under the terms agreed, Gamesa will supply a total of 86 of its G97-2.0MW wind turbines at five wind farms located in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
The wind turbines, which will be made locally at Gamesa’s Indian factories, are scheduled for delivery over the course of 2015. The agreements also encompass the provision of the related operation and maintenance services under medium and long-term arrangements.
