Gamesa has signed a contract with Everbright, the renewable subsidiary of the Chinese industrial conglomerate Everbright Group, for the supply of 48MW for the Changfangshan wind farm.
Under the terms of the agreement, Gamesa will supply, install and commission 24 of its G97-2.0MW turbines. The wind farm is located in the province of Shanxi, to the west of Beijing. The turbines are slated for delivery over the course of 2015. In addition, Gamesa and Everbright have agreed the potential supply of another 48MW during a second phase of this project in 2015.
