Gamesa has received : two EPC contracts for wind farms with capacity of 50MW and 30MW and a contract to supply 50MW for a third wind farm.
The first turnkey order encompasses the installation of 25 of G97-2.0 MW turbines (50MW) at a wind farm located in the state of Gujarat, which is expected to be commissioned in September 2016. The second turnkey order contemplates the development of a wind farm in the state of Madhya Pradesh, equipped with 15 of its G97-2.0MW Class S turbines (30MW), which is slated for commissioning during the first quarter of this year. With a tower height of 104 metres, the G97-2.0 MW Class S is a new variant tailor-designed for the Indian market. Gamesa has also signed an agreement for the supply of 25 of its G97-2.0MW Class S turbines for a wind farm located in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This project is due for commissioning in the first quarter of 2016. Gamesa will operate and maintain these new facilities on a long-term basis.
