Enel Green Power has completed and connected to the grid its new wind farm “Dominica I” in Mexico.
The power plant is located in the municipality of Charcas and owned by Dominica Energía Limpia S. de R.L., a subsidiary of Enel Green Power Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. With a total installed capacity of 100MW, Dominica I comprises 50 wind turbines of 2MW each and is capable of generating up to 260 GWh per year. The project is supported by two long-term PPAs for the supply of energy, worth a total of about US$ 485 million.
