Eletrobras and Shell to explore offshore wind opportunities in Brazil

Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras (Eletrobras) has signed a technical cooperation agreement with Shell aimed at exchanging information for a possible co-investment in the development and operation of offshore wind energy projects, in Brazil.

 

With the agreement, the parties will seek to identify areas for a possible partnership. The agreement is part of Eletrobras' strategy to diversify its generation matrix focused on renewable sources.
