The government of Japan appoints the Consortium to oversee design, construction, and operation of the project in sea areas off the coast of Enoshima Island, Saikai City, Nagasaki Prefecture. The Consortium aims to involve Sumitomo Metal Mining and Sumco Corporation as offtakers for the green electricity generated.
