Orix Corporation has announced that its group company, Elawan Energy will supply renewable energy to Amazon under the corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
Elawan will start providing Amazon with around 160MW of power generated by two wind power generation facilities and four solar power plants currently under development in Spain, along with environmental attributes, starting in 2024 and 2025. Elawan and Amazon have previously signed a corporate PPA for five solar power generation plants that began operating in 2023 for a cumulative total of around 180MW.
