DNV has certified the third milestone under the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) standard for Nordseecluster A (NC 1 and NC 2), an offshore wind project being developed by RWE and Norges Bank Investment Management in the German North Sea.
The certification confirms that the project's design phase, including plans for installation, operation and decommissioning, complies with BSH regulatory requirements. Receipt of the third BSH approval enables RWE to proceed with the installation of wind turbines at the project site. Nordseecluster is being developed in two phases, A and B, and is planned to have a total installed capacity of up to 1.6 GW once fully completed.
