Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) affiliate CPV Renewable Power and investment partner Harrison Street Asset Management (HSAM) have started commercial operations at the 114 MW CPV Rogue’s Wind project in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, USA.
The wind farm is CPV’s third operating project in Cambria County, following the CPV Fairview Energy Center and CPV Maple Hill Solar. It is also the company’s third renewable energy project developed on former coal mining land.
Located on more than 6,000 acres, the project operates in partnership with private landowners and the Rock Run Recreation Area, an off-road vehicle park.
CPV Rogue’s Wind comprises 19 Vestas V162 wind turbines. White Construction served as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor, while Logisticus Group transported the turbine components more than 260 miles from port to site.
