Blix supports the Estonian developer Eesti Energia (part of Enefit) as engineering consultant in a pre-feed study for a new offshore wind farm in the Gulf of Riga.
Blix analyses basic site conditions (wind, soil, icing, waves & currents), wind turbine options and wind farm layouts, as well as foundations, cables, the substation and onshore solutions for the wind farm. The wind farm will have a production capacity of 1GW. The offshore wind farm is being developed by Enefit and is planned in the Gulf of Riga, approximately 11 km from the nearest point of land on Kihnu Island.
