AGL and Someva Renewables have announced a Joint Venture (JV) to develop Pottinger Energy Park, expected to comprise a 1.2 GW wind farm, a 300 MW solar farm, and a 500 MW / 2000 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
The proposed Pottinger Energy Park is situated 60 kilometres south of Hay and 75 kilometres north of Deniliquin in NSW, within the NSW Gazetted South West Renewable Energy Zone, Australia. The project is in its early stages of development, with preliminary community engagement and planning applications underway.
