Envision Energy has installed a prototype of its 3MW turbine at the National Test Centre in Østerild in Denmark.
The EN-120 3.0MW unit has a hub height of 90 metres, a diameter of 120 metres and has been developed by Envision’s Global Innovation Centre in Denmark in The 3MW unit is planned to be a part of the company’s 25MW Swedish wind farm in Eskilstuna, which is scheduled for commercial operation in September 2016. This is the first onshore wind turbine developed for the global market by the Global Innovation Centre.
