The Nordex Group recorded order receipts of € 280 million, an increase of 60% over the previous year (€ 175 million). In the third quarter alone, new business doubled. As of September 30, 2005, order books had risen in value by 88% to € 261 million (previous year: € 139 million).

The Utility Wind Interest Group (UWIG) has announced it will change its name to the Utility Wind Integration Group, effective January 1, 2006. The UWIG Board of Directors voted to make the change, as well as change the organisation's tax exempt corporate status. This name change provides a more clear focus on their role of serving as an objective source of knowledge and information in technical matters dealing with integration of wind energy into utility systems, while simultaneously keeping the UWIG logo, name recognition, and reputation.

In the first nine months of the current financial year, REpower Systems AG has installed a total of 136 turbines, of which 96 had a full impact on sales with a total output of 170MW. This equates to a 37.7 per cent increase in installed rated power (previous year: 75 systems and 123.5MW).

Nordex AG has recorded a significant growth in new business for the second quarter in succession in this financial year. In the third quarter of 2005 order receipts doubled on the basis of strict internal criteria to € 122.4 million (previous year: € 61.2 million). Overall, order receipts increased by some 60% to € 279.9 million in the first nine months of the year (previous year: € 174.7 million), putting them above projections.

The former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of REpower Systems AG, Dr Klaus-Detlef Wulf, announced he would be leaving the Board. As one of the largest shareholders, Dr Wulf had previously been a shareholder representative on REpower Systems’ Supervisory Board.
