In the first nine months of the current financial year, REpower Systems AG has installed a total of 136 turbines, of which 96 had a full impact on sales with a total output of 170MW. This equates to a 37.7 per cent increase in installed rated power (previous year: 75 systems and 123.5MW).
Consolidated gross revenues were increased from € 152.2 million to € 194.8 million in the reporting period. Sales increased strongly from € 130.6 million to the current figure of € 195.1 million. EBIT for the period from January to September was minus € 12.4 million compared with minus € 7.9 million in the previous year. For the first quarter the EBIT amounted to € 0.3 million. As a result of the likely beating of the installation target, REpower expects a sales increase of 5 per cent to 10 per cent for the 2005 financial year. Moreover, as things stand, the company expects an EBIT result roughly in line with the previous year. With the planned installation of at least 250 turbines, which are already largely covered by the orders on hand, the sales volume in the 2006 financial year is likely to pass the € 400 million mark for the first time ever.
