Just over 2GW of turbine orders were placed in the Asia Pacific region between July and December 2015. Latin America and the Middle East & Africa were fourth and fifth, respectively, in wind turbine orders announced by region. Based on reported turbine deals, Siemens led all turbine order vendors in capacity awarded, with Vestas a close second. General Electric and Gamesa were third and fourth, respectively.
