The American Renewable Energy Standards and Certification Association (ARESCA) is inviting wind energy experts to join a consensus body to support the adoption of international standards in the USA. Experts who are directly and materially affected by these standards are encouraged to apply to join the ARESCA Standards Committee of the Board (SCB)
The ARESCA Standards Committee of the Board (SCB) is responsible for reviewing and approving the adoption of the following IEC Technical Committee 88 (TC 88) standards as American National Standards (ANS):
1. ARESCA 61400-1.1-202x – Wind energy generation systems – Part 1: Design requirements (Amendment 1)
(identical national adoption of IEC 61400-1/AMD1 ED4:2025)
2. ARESCA 61400-3-2-202x – Wind energy generation systems – Part 3-2: Design requirements for floating offshore wind turbines
(identical national adoption of IEC 61400-3-2:2025)
