MEASNET, the International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes, has added a new member in the competence area of Site Assessment. Usens Energy Solutions, based in Türkiye, becomes the 30th technical laboratory to join the organisation.
Founded in 2013, the company specialises in wind energy with a focus on site assessment. Membership followed a detailed evaluation process confirming compliance with MEASNET’s technical and quality criteria for wind measurement. Usens operates from offices in İzmir and Frankfurt and is certified as a test laboratory under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Its team has supported more than 60 GW of renewable energy projects across Europe.
With this addition, MEASNET now counts 13 recognised testing laboratories providing Site Assessment services.
