RTS Wind Group GMBH, part of Topp Holdings GmbH, has acquired a majority stake in Subsea Energy Solutions (SES), an equipment manufacturer in the offshore energy industry based in the North East of England.Topp Holdings GmbH is a family-owned, independent holding company based in Bremen, Germany and Freienbach, Switzerland with consolidated sales of € 253 million and over 6000 staff. As part of the transaction, Ryan Henderson, Les Nutter, Ken Ritson and Simon Wyles from Ventus Energy will bring insight and experience to SES, identifying synergies between both companies. Ventus Energy was itself acquired by Topp Holdings Group in March 2023. The deal was completed in July 2023 for an undisclosed sum.
