The RES renergys Group has sold its Brazilian subsidiary SES Soluções de Energias Sustentáveis (SES) to Pacific Hydro International Pty Ltd of Melbourne.
The Australian company has acquired SES including all its projects effective 30 November 2006. The price has not been disclosed. The RES renergys Group started operations in Brazil in 1999, founding its subsidiary there in 2001. Together with local partners, it developed wind farms projects with more than 350 MW output. For the RES renergys Group, the sale of SES is a step in the consistent implementation of its previously announced strategy of focusing on the European market.
