Two executives from the renewables industry have been appointed by The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) to oversee the firm’s day-to-day business, develop its global growth strategy, and direct short- and long-term planning for the company.
Sebastian Chivers has taken up the role of Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Lee Clarke as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to RCG, Chivers spent 12 years as a consultant, project leader and director at renewable energy consultancy PMSS – which was acquired by the TUV SUD group. Until recently, Chivers was a Director and Executive Board member, responsible for the North America business. Clarke was previously responsible for leading Forewind Limited, the international consortium of RWE, SSE, Statkraft, and Statoil developing the Dogger Bank offshore wind zone, where he served as General Manager and Project Director. Prior to Forewind, Clarke was a Project Director and Senior Corporate Strategy Manager at RWE, and held senior leadership and management roles at E.ON and TXU Europe.
