Principle Power has appointed João Amaral as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Julian Arrilaga Costa, who will remain in an advisory role until the end of the year to support the transition.
João previously served as Group Chief Technology Officer at the French independent power producer Voltalia, where he led global technology strategy across wind, solar, hydro, storage, and biomass. He brings more than 20 years of renewable energy experience, having led multidisciplinary teams and managed complex projects from planning to deployment on several continents.
