Mooreast Holdings Ltd. has announced the appointment of Alvin Chew as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, effective 1 January 2026. The appointment supports the company’s strategy to expand its mooring solutions for the floating renewable energy market.
Mr Chew is currently Managing Director and Head of Investments at Yangzijiang Financial Holding. He previously held senior leadership roles at EDBI Pte Ltd, serving as Managing Partner, Head of Strategic Growth Programme, and Coordinating Head for China. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at ACA Investments Pte Ltd as Managing Partner, overseeing mid-market private equity investments across Southeast and North Asia and serving on investment committees and portfolio company boards.
Following his appointment, Mr Chew will also join Mooreast’s Audit & Risk Committee. Mooreast, a designer and manufacturer of drag embedment anchors, is targeting projects in the floating renewable energy sector, including offshore wind, in Europe and Asia.
