In the period, OEG completed the acquisition of Trinity Rental Services, its 17th acquisition in five years, strengthening its US presence and fleet capacity. It secured an integrated service contract for the Inch Cape offshore wind project in Scotland and opened a new office in Edinburgh to monitor wind farm operations.
OEG has reported revenue of $267 million for the first half of 2025. The company said growth was supported by contract awards across its divisions, expansion into new markets, and an increase in service capacity. Offshore wind developments in the first half of 2025 include:
- Delivery of a vessel for the Hai Long wind farm in Taiwan and first work in Japan on the Hibikinada wind farm
- A subsea cable installation contract for an offshore wind project in North America
- A three-year crane and lift servicing contract with Orsted for six wind farms in Germany
- Further deployment of its all-electric SEAJET E-CFE subsea system
