Mikael Vainionpää has been appointed Executive Vice President of Enersense’s Energy Transition Business Unit and will join the Group Leadership Team on 1 January 2026.
He moves to Enersense from Valmet, where he was responsible for strategy and mergers and acquisitions in North America. Vainionpää has held senior international business leadership roles at Schindler Group, Coor and VR Group.
