Following approval of its third quarter results, Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica has presented its statement of financial position for the first 9 months of 2006.
Net earnings rose to € 220 million through to September, with an upward trend due to the concentration of assembly work in the latter stages of the year. Revenues have amounted to € 1,385 million, constituting a 40 per cent increase on the same period in 2005. EBITDA is up 13 per cent, taking as reference the first nine months of the prior year. Both rises are due to the increase in sales of wind turbines.
