Gamesa has cemented its presence in China with the opening of its sixth manufacturing plant.
The facility, devoted to the manufacture of control cabinets, is located in Tianjin, where Gamesa already had four plants and produces the main components of its wind turbines: blades, nacelle assembly, gearboxes and now power electronics. Gamesa opened this year another nacelle assembly facility in the province of Jilin. Gamesa’s production capacity in China exceeds 1,000MW.
