Deme has taken delivery of its second new wind turbine installation vessel, Norse Energi, at the CIMC Raffles Shipyard. The vessel was designed by GustoMSC and built by CIMC Raffles.
Like its sister vessel Norse Wind, Norse Energi is designed to install offshore wind turbines with rotor diameters exceeding 300 metres and XXL monopiles weighing up to 3,000 tonnes in water depths of up to 70 metres. Both vessels are already contracted for offshore wind projects in Europe and are scheduled to enter service in the first half of 2026.
