Centurion Group has acquired Trand, supporting its expansion into the onshore wind sector in the USA. Headquartered in Sawyer, Trand is a family-owned business specialising in complex lifting operations for the onshore wind industry. Its capabilities strengthen Centurion’s existing lifting services in the United States and add specialist heavy-lift expertise aligned with demand in the Midwest.
The acquisition also complements Centurion’s Althoff Crane Service operations in Minnesota, supporting regional growth and broader service coverage across the Midwest. It forms part of Centurion’s strategy to expand its presence in renewables and develop a more diversified equipment and services platform.
