Ares Management has agreed to acquire a 20% minority stake in Plenitude, the energy transition business owned by Eni. Completion is subject to regulatory approval.
Ares Management acquires the stake for approximately €2 billion. The deal values Plenitude at over €12 billion. Plenitude operates in more than 15 countries, combining over 4 GW of renewable energy capacity with energy retail and service activities. The company supplies more than 10 million customers and manages around 21,500 electric vehicle charging points.
