Vestas has received two orders totalling 162MW of V110-2.0MW turbines for projects in the USA. For one of the orders, some of the turbines will be delivered in the 2.2 MW power optimised mode.
Both orders include supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as Active Output Management (AOM) 5000 service agreements. Turbine delivery will begin in the third quarter of 2017. Turbine nacelles, blades, and towers will be produced at Vestas' Colorado factories. Customer and project names have not been disclosed at the customer's request.
