Vestas has secured a 1.38 GW firm order from RWE for the Vanguard West offshore wind project, following a positive outcome in Allocation Round 7 in the United Kingdom. The project will comprise 92 V236-15.0 MW turbines installed around 47 km off the coast of Norfolk.
Vestas will supply, deliver and commission the turbines. The scope also includes a five-year service agreement and a long-term operational support agreement. Final investment decision is targeted for summer 2026, with commissioning expected in 2029.
