Vestas has received and order in the USA from a fund managed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) for 43 V126-3.45MW turbines for the Bearkat I Wind Project in Texas.
Bearkat I has a total capacity of 196.7MW and includes 57 V126 3.45MW turbines. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement. Delivery is expected to begin in the third quarter of this year, with commissioning planned for the end of 2017.
