Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 100 V100-2.0 MW turbines in North Dakota, USA, with a total capacity of 200MW from Xcel Energy for the Courtenay project.
The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a three-year Active Output Management 4000 service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to begin in third quarter of 2016, with commissioning planned for fourth quarter of 2016.
