Sulmara has secured a contract to conduct site characterisation at the Stromar floating offshore wind farm in Scotland.
The contract entails utilising the Vos Gorgeous, a 60-metre multi-purpose subsea vessel, to perform geophysical investigation across the proposed wind farm site in water depths of up to 100 metres. Scheduled to commence in April, the project will involve data acquisition to support Stromar’s engineering design work and its ongoing environmental assessment of the site, located approximately 50 kilometres off Caithness in northern Scotland.
